The name of our Gurukul Sri Sri Surya Deo Singh Smriti Gurukulam is named in the sweet memory of Sri S.D. Singh, an eminent leader who struggled for the cause of poor workers and made a history in Dhanbad. This institution Started with an object of giving Practical and Concrete shape to sum the Educational ideas of Anglo-vedic system. It is solely managed by the Surya Deo Singh memorial Foundation. This Gurukul is now a novel and noble institution at Saraidhela, Dhanbad, quite in conformity with the needs of the present day and completely free from any communal bias & Provisional Prejudice. The secretary of this institution is Smt. Kunti Singh. Beside the age long dream on the birth of this institution is materialised only by the cordial generosity, and hearty assistance of trustees.

The S.S.S.S.S.G. Golden movement with beginning of 21st century India need to develop transcendentalism in education. An eminent labour leader and one of the great examples of sacrifice and struggle, Late S.D. Singh stands by himself with the familiar and solitary distinctiveness, a unique in his type he made an attempt to remove poverty by his philosophy of struggle & unity which is based on the ancient philosophy of Bhagwat Geeta. He founded no. of organisations against the exploitation & unfair policies. He had the strong conviction that salvation lay in educating the masses on the pattern of Anglo-vedic system. This S.S.S.S.S.G. commenced with the view of ancient vedic scripture with modern ideas. Actually Gurukul is going to develop-idea, of unity of all the religion which is based on the following great ideologies :- The Gurukulam is dedicated to quality of education with alround development of shishya. Our Gurukulam believes in quality education which will be proved by the examplary academic achievement of our children and their birth taking performance in the field of moral education, academic education, sports and any other Co-curricular activities. It is unique idea to develop the mind of shishya by way of ancient. Philosophy and work on principle. Further, it is also a universal truth that principle is always based on religion. It may be Hundism, Islam, Cristianity or any other religion every shishya without any kinds of prejudice or bias.
